Harmonic Sequences
- harmonic sequence – a chord progression of two of more chords, always in on different scale degrees, creating a rising or falling motion
- the motive can either by in several positions or one
- the voices should appear in the same arrangement as in the motive
- it is not preferable to deal with the diminished chord built off of the 7th still – however, in a sequence it is currently permissible
- NB = diminished triad will appear in exercise
