COMPOSER’S NOTES

Chill is composed in the context of the subtly disturbed. The piece makes no utterances of joy as it slowly and drudgingly makes its way through time. Chill should alert some of humanity’s dullest primitive senses as the piece progresses to a melodic light that is only fragile and frail. Two codes can be heard coming from the piano in this light, if one is to listen carefully enough. This is then transformed into an unrequited confusion that only leads to where most confusion does,
